**Camp Maiden is listed as “Girl Scouts of the USA” on Google Maps — wrong name, correct location!
The Knighted workshop will be hosted at Camp Maiden. It is located off of Judith Peak Road on the way the Judith Peak, about 20 miles outside of Lewistown, Montana.
Camp Maiden is located in the Judith Mountains. It is a beautiful area filled with history and wildlife. Guests will be expected to respect the camp and all surrounding areas:
- No littering
- No smoking (for wildfire prevention)
- No hunting
- No motorized vehicles off of marked/official roads
- No fireworks
- No unauthorized camp fires
Guests will also be expected to practice wilderness safety:
- Appropriate footwear
- Appropriate seasonal clothing (August in MT usually means hot days/cold mornings and evenings)
- Buddy system when away from camp
- Ensuring that you carry an epipen, inhaler, and other emergency medications if you require them
- Bear spray is strongly recommended for all guests who plan to hike
Camp Maiden has bunkhouses with bunkbeds, shower houses, and toilets.
